Cumberland Hotel - Oceana Collection – Hotel near airport in Bournemouth

I stayed at a hotel in a prime location on the East cliff, offering a nice modern room with a dark curtain view. The service was top-notch with attentive staff, including Kevin the Duty Manager. The dining options catered to all tastes, and the surroundings seemed clean and pleasant. However, the front of the house had an obvious refurbishment and the view was not the best.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, with a few ups and downs. The location was fantastic, right by the beach and in a clean area. The rooms were cozy with a very comfortable bed, but I wished for more privacy in the shower. The service was a mixed bag, with the waiting staff being excellent but the bar service lacking warmth. The dining options were varied, catering to multiple tastes, though the tinned mushrooms were a letdown. Overall, a good value for money experience with some room for improvement.

The hotel has a small double bed in the room, with a marvelous balcony but may be affected by loud music. It offers a king-size bedroom, which is a plus.
